Stevens-Lather House (Battery Carriage House B&B)

The Stevens-Lather House was built in 1843 for Samuel S. Stevens. It is now a Bed and Breakfast called the Battery Carriage House.

It is reputedly haunted by apparitions of a headless torso in Room 8, one known simply as "The Gentleman" in Room 10, and a workman who fell to his death in the 1930's. Other phenomena include the sound of heavy breathing. The apparitions have allegedly been photographed along with the usual orbs (which can be readily explained, see our Para.Science page). More information is available on their website.
